The Angel Inn lies in the heart of historic Corbridge in Northumberland. We're surrounded by great countryside, history and things to do and see.

Or you can join us for an evening of live music, particlualry Blues and Folk in the main bar.
The Angel was built in 1726 and is the oldest Coaching Inn in Corbridge and was the main Posting Centre until the opening of the Railway.
The Inn was completely refurbished in 1900 and with the advent of the motor car became a familiar landmark and stopping point for tired and hungry travellers on the long road to Edinburgh.
John and Lynn Gibson acquired the Angel in 2005 and totally transformed the restaurant and bars, employed the best chefs and front of house staff and sympathetically refurbished the guest rooms. The new restaurant and cocktail bar were completed in June 2007.
